Distribution Center in Hickory, North Carolina, the heart
of furniture-making country. Our trucks actually pick up most
furniture at the nearby factories. This avoids possible damage
caused by less exacting carriers. Once at the Distribution
Center, all furniture is subject to a "deluxing"
process unmatched in the industry. |

Out-of-the-box
Service
We uncarton every piece of furniture before delivery. Once out
of the box, all furniture undergoes a rigorous inspection by trained
furniture professionals to ensure the delivery process starts
with quality.
Polished & Protected
Experts in the delivery of fine wood products, we completely
assemble all beds and even places the leaves in dining room
tables to thoroughly inspect every order. All wood pieces
are then hand-polished and securely blanket-wrapped for
safe passage to your home.
The White Glove Treatment
Our crews wear white gloves while handling your upholstery
so as not to soil the fabric. After a detailed inspection,
your upholstery is blanket-wrapped, ensuring shape and tailoring
remain intact during shipping. |

After the Sale
You will receive a copy of your sales ticket at the time of your
order. Please review it carefully to ensure accuracy. Customer
Service will update you with any factory acknowledgements they
receive regarding delivery dates.
Let's set a
Date
As your furniture is received at the Distribution Center, our
shipping department will telephone you to schedule an approximate
delivery date and time window. We can not guarantee a delivery
date. You may want to consider a partial delivery if your entire
order is not available.
Delivery Day - The Red
Carpet Treatment
We respect you and your home. When the delivery crew arrives
at your doorstep, they roll out the red carpet - literally.
Our crew is even outfitted with "booties" to wear
over their shoes in case of inclement weather. Please be prepared
on delivery day: existing furniture and accessories should
be cleared from the delivery area so that the crew may complete
the delivery with as little disruption to you, your family
and your household as possible. |

Paying for Your
New Furniture
Final Payment - *Plan to pay any
COD balances on your furniture by personal or certified check,
made payable to the retailer. Shipping charges are payable by
a separate check to the carrier.
*Credit
cards cannot be accepted by delivery personel.
Use Tax
Your furniture retailer may or may not be required to collect
sales tax imposed on your purchases. Even if the retailer is not
required by applicable tax laws to collect a sales tax, some states
impose on consumers a "use tax" on the use of property
within that jurisdiction. Consumers should consult their state
and local tax laws in order to determine the amount of their use
tax liability, if any. As a common carrier providing shipping
services, we are not responsible for collecting sales or use tax
on any furniture it delivers.
